Black Friday rejection of police death finding

Deaths in custody have rejected a WA police service decision not to lay charges against officers who arrested a Perth Aboriginal man who died in custody.

Although a preliminary report from the Perth Coroner's Office announced that Carl Woods died as a result of ischemic heart disease(clogging of the arteries) the Coroner noted several blunt force traumas to the face of the deceased.

DICWC(WA) are protesting for a fully independent investigation into the death in WA police custody, and will be carrying banners depicting the man's facial injuries at the march which has been dubbed the 'Black Friday Rally.'

DICWC(WA)'s spokesperson Marc Newhouse said that delays were typical in WA death in custody investigations, but the year long wait for toxicology added to an image of WA police being unaccountable.

The panda did it

In her ongoing quest to diet (without the die) Sal's struck a good thing, but people on this continent may wish to settle for a good strong cup of tea instead.

I think the culprits were the disgruntled Dancing Pandas(*watch out - youtube download) who shot to stardom in 1987 and then were axed for the lame 'Have a break' campaign in the early '90s.
